Statistics: Russia’s inflation speeds up to 0.2% Nov 7–Monday
MOSCOW, Nov 14 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation accelerated to 0.2% from November 7 through Monday and reached 3.2% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
In the reported week, prices for millet grew by 1.7%, for poultry 0.7%, for flour 0.4%, for sausages, pasteurized milk, margarine, and buckwheat by 0.3%.
Prices for fruit and vegetables increased 1.7% on average. Cucumber prices rose 7.6%, tomato prices by 6.5%, and onion prices by 2.4%. Apple prices fell 0.2% and carrot prices decreased 0.1%.
Gasoline prices remained flat and diesel fuel prices went up 0.1%.
